Agriculture in Nepal

            Agriculture is the main occupation of the people. It is carried on mainly in terai & the valleys. The terai produce rice, jute, sugarcane, etc. The valleys produce maize, beans, fruits etc. The high mountains are snow covered; the hills are forested & terai is plain.Mostly rice is plant in terai region.Sheep & goats are reared on hilly side.
